Should the game have potions to buy?.............at the moment their seems to be an over reliance on monks to keep the party alive..........especially in PvP where Monk are the primary target

Also their is a shortage of monks which is really annoying

What do you think>

i say no, there is nothing worse then a pot spammer in pvp.

No to Pots.
Every class has ways of keeping themselves alive. You need to think about how you plan on doing this in your current character build.
Even running away can be a viable factor for staying alive.

Healer Monks are good at keeping the party alive but they should not be there to keep 'bad builds' alive. If everyone in your team has a stable and solid build then the monk is there to add to that winning set-up.

There is nothing worse for a monk than to find themselves in with a group of players who think that it is the monks job to keep them alive. - Most common and incorrect thought in the game! - It is YOUR job to keep yourself alive, the monk's job is to help ever team member perform that job well.

If you don't know how to keep yourself alive, don't expect your monk to dedicate his mana on you at the sake of the rest of the team.

No....I like the fact there's no pots - even in PvE - so far in GW, I haven't missed them at all.

Pots would make the game incredibly unbalanced if they're being spammed. Monks would also be useless. They would throw the whole game out of whack, I say.
